+ Tridente Boyce is an Adelaide-based, multi-disciplinary design studio with comprehensive experience in Architecture, Interior Design, Master Planning and Urban Design. We focus on the delivery of exemplary outcomes for our clients through design, as demonstrated by the numerous awards and citations received by the Studio in over thirty years of operation.
We adopt a holistic approach founded on the philosophy that architecture should integrate all aspects of design, including appropriate built form, detailed material research and selection, prototyping, illumination, graphics, wayfinding, furnishings, and fabrics. We consider that spaces, surfaces, proportions and materials have equal value in the establishment of architectural composition.
Pivotal to this approach is the investigative process that questions every aspect of each project as it develops. It is this methodology that leads us to search and strive for the most applicable but not necessarily the most obvious solution.
+ Tridente Boyce has an established architectural track record which includes projects in the educational, institutional, residential, commercial, retail, health and industrial sectors ranging in value from $0.5m to $70m. The company is registered in South Australia and Victoria.
Our competitive edge has, and continues to be, the ability to deliver unique cost-effective solutions for our clients within strict parameters and in complex environments. Fundamental to this is the hands-on approach of both directors who are involved in every aspect of each project and form the conduit for all communication between the client’s representative, the Studio and the project team. + Tridente Boyce’s approach has allowed it to acquire knowledge in all areas of design, allowing it to collaborate effectively with other design professionals. This synergy facilitates the simplification of complex issues and enables unique innovative outcomes for its clients.

Nick Tridente
Director
Nick formed the design studio in 1989. He participates at all levels of design and design development to ensure a rigorous standard is maintained within the Studio.
Nick has a solid reputation in creative architectural design and master planning. His work has been focused on the reuse of existing buildings and existing sites. This has brought a rigor to his design process resulting in competent cost-effective and buildable solutions to sometimes complex building environments. His strength lies in the adoption of a logical framework which acknowledges both existing and new building stock.
Nick was awarded the Australian Institute of Architects Sir James Irwin President’s Medal in 2010 for exemplary service to the profession of Architecture. He has also served as the South Australian Associate Government Architect for three years.
Paul Boyce
Director
Paul has worked in Adelaide, Melbourne and London on a variety of architectural, interior design and urban design projects. His experience encompasses the gamut of architectural disciplines, from design, design development, documentation through to contract administration, and associated post-contract services.
With an interest in the competent resolution of all aspects of design, his holistic approach includes the spaces between buildings and the spaces and elements within. He considers that surface, space, light, material and proportion have equal value in the establishment of a good architectural composition.
Paul’s exposure to a broad range of project types, has enabled him to develop a rigorous detailed design and documentation regime. Superintending work on large and small projects has provided a solid base for quality control and project co-ordination.
Country
In the spirit of reconciliation, Tridente Boyce acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of Country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community. We pay our respect to their Elders past, present and emerging and extend that respect to all First Nations peoples today.
