T13

Traditional Territory: Kaurna Country

T13 is a commercial facility located within South Australia’s Tonsley Innovation Precinct.

Housed beneath the refurbished frame of the former Mitsubishi car plant Main Assembly Building, T13 has been developed as the first two storey commercial building in the precinct.

Created as a prototype for the Urban Renewal Authority, it demonstrates the maximum density opportunities possible within a tenancy footprint while factoring the height limitations of the existing structure.

The building contains a double height office space with a mezzanine attached to an assembly area.

The language is intentionally clinical and a clear contrast to the industrial character of Main Assembly Building.

The result is a distinctive lettable tenancy that responds appropriately to its context
