Craigmore High School STEM
Traditional Territory: Kaurna Country
Craigmore High School is a co-education school of 1100 students located in the northern suburbs of Adelaide, South Australia.
The existing school infrastructure has been repurposed to create an environment conducive to 21st century learning pedagogies, as part of the 2017 South Australian Government program to upgrade of STEM facilities.
Transparency has been maximised and the interrelated areas offer high levels of flexibility and connectivity. A significant structural upgrade to the building fabric is integrated within the interior design, providing a unique identity to the STEM precinct.
The traditional cellular classroom block has been transformed into a vibrant, light and spacious learning centre, promoting collaborative learning. The space encourages a crossover of core disciplines and will inspire students to explore avenues that they may not have contemplated previously.
