The Global Centre for Modern Ageing is a commercial research facility located in the South Australian Tonsley Innovation Precinct. The centre is featured beneath the refurbished frame of the former Mitsubishi car plant Main Assembly Building.

The facility provides research, advisory and living lab services for businesses and organisations to develop improved products, services and solutions to meet the needs of the ageing community.

The built form is developed to meet both the specific requirements of the tenant and to utilise a program that is adaptable to allow for future tenant changes.

The building comprises three pods developed for the project by KNCT, positioned in a triangular form to create a central enclosed space.

The result is a distinctive warm and welcoming commercial tenancy that provides a unique service to its target audience.
